Special Olympics Sports Meet conducted by the CSI Diocese of Madras along with Special Olympics Bharat Tamilnadu will be conducted at the grounds of St. Ebbas Mat. Higher Secondary School,Radhakrishnan Salai,Mylapore,Chennai on the 13th of february between 9 A.m. and 2 P.m. for all disabilities pertaining to the following events :
25 and 50 mts Standing Long Jump (MR)
50 and 100 mts Shotput (HI)
25 mts softball thrown for Totally Blind
50 Mts Softball throw for Partially blind (V.I)
PH - Upper Limb - 50 mts and 100 mts
PH- Lower Limb - 25 Mts Softball Throw
The 5 Aside West and South Region Football Championships will be held at the SDAT Stadium, Salem from 19th to 21st of February 2016. Participating States - Tamilnadu, Pondicherry, Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Telungana.
Special Olympics Bharat Tamilnadu Unified sports festival will be held on the 30th of January 2016 from 9.00 a.m.to 3.30 p.m. pertaining to Floor Hockey, Bocce, Badminton, Football and Athletics at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Periyamet, Chennai - 3.
